Lee Creek Clean-Up, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, Saturday 10 September 2022

The annual Lee Creek Cleanup in Devils Den State Park will be on Saturday, September 10. The cleanup will be from 9am until 11:30am when lunch will be provided, and door prizes handed out. The OSHC has been a sponsor and participant in this cleanup for many years, it’s a fun time with a feeling of doing something good for the environment. Last year the OSHC won the most volunteers prize (temporary home for a canoe paddle), let’s bring that paddle home again!

• For carpooling, meet at the NE corner of the parking lot of the Walmart SuperCenter on W. Martin Luther King Blvd, about 1/2 west of I49 for an 8:15am departure.
• Or meet at 9:00am at the horse camp pavilion on AR Hwy 220 on the west side of the park.

There will be coffee and donuts at the cleanup headquarters at the horse camp pavilion in the morning, and as mentioned, lunch will be provided at 11:30am.

Gloves and collection bags will be provided by the park, and they’ll have free t shirts.

Wear boots/outdoor shoes, clothes appropriate for working outside in some underbrush, and bring bug spray.
