Highlands Chapter Meeting:  Thursday, September 10, 2026

Highlands Chapter September meeting will take place this coming Thursday, Sept 10, in air-conditioned comfort at the First United Presbyterian Church’s Witherspoon Hall meeting room on Calvin Street in Fayetteville.

We have two speakers for this meeting:

• Highlands Chapter member Don House will provide an overview of topics covered in the Arkansas Agriculture, Forestry and Water Conference he and Fred Paillet attended in July.  Next,
• Evan Walden, Highlands Chapter fall hiking coordinator, will relate his experience hiking over 700 miles on the four major regional hiking trails that earned him the Ozark Society’s Sassafras Award.
