The Pulaski Chapter of the Ozark Society meets on the first Tuesday of every month, except July, at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72227. We have monthly outings from Fall through Spring on Saturdays so please check out our schedule of events in the Outings and Activities Calendar on this website. We also have a monthly email newsletter, Paddle Trails, that we send to members. Please join us in a meeting for a lively topic or an outing with leaders Steve Heye and/or Eddie Vollman. Time to check out section two of the new Buffalo River Trail Extension. We will meet at the Morgan McDonald's at 7:30 and carpool up or you can meet us at the Harp's Grocery lot in Marshall at 9:30. Bring lunch, sturdy shoes and water. There is a wet crossing at Brush Creek.Find out more
Another new area for us to visit, Sandstone Castle is a rock formation in the Richland Creek Wilderness that has unique features. It is northwest of the twin falls and is not visited that much but interesting rock formations to explore and enjoy the late fall foliage. Bring a lunch, boots and water. Bring some Orange for hunting safety. We will meet at the Morgan McDonald's at 7:30 to car pool or meet us at the Pelsor store by 9:30.Find out more
We can see the aftermath of the big spring flood and see how it effected the birds and wildlife. We will explore the area from several places reached by roads and short walks. Meet at the McDonald's in Morgan at 8:00 or meet us at the Refuge Gate at 9:30 am. If the area is still shut, we will do a hike at near by Petit Jean. Lunch will be at Petit Jean's Mather Lodge.Find out more
Time to explore the trails around Hot Springs Mt. We will meet at Chik-fil-A near Bass Pro at 8 to carpool down or be at Park HQ by 9. We plan to hike over to Gulpha Gorge and back on a few of the park trails. Lunch will be at the Superior Bathhouse Brewery. Should be a great time for a winter hike.Find out more
