How-To Identify and Remove Invasive Species with CAMN Arkansas Wild Spaces
About this event
Come and learn hands-on invasive plant identification with Central Arkansas Master Naturalists Arkansas Wild Spaces guides and learn to use the tools from the tool library collection at the Central Arkansas Library System to clean up your own yard of invasive species.
We will work on the Southwest Park Trail (near the Dee Brown Library and Southwest Community Center) to identify and remove a few common invasive plants and demonstrate the proper use of a ‘pullerbear,’ a root slayer, and a weeding shovel. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
