WEATHER POSTPONEMENT. HIKE IS NOW ON FEBRUARY 12…….

We start our celebration of the park’s 50th year by hiking from Kyle’s Landing down river to Erbie. The trail will start with a good sized hill and then flatten out as we walk along the south bank of the Buffalo. There will be a few shallow water crossings, you should carry water shoes. This hike will take all day and you may want to car camp overnight at either spot. Steve will be spending Friday night at Erbie. Erbie is reached by county road 79, off Hwy 7 north of Jasper. Meet at the Erbie Campground at 9:30 Saturday morning to carpool over to Kyles. We will start at the Kyles trailhead around 10. If coming from Little Rock on Saturday, you must leave by 7 to reach Erbie by 9:30.
