Name of Hike:  Dynamite Trail

Location:  Pinnacle Mountain State Park; 11901 Pinnacle Valley Road

Type of Hike:  Loop

Hiking Distance:  4 -4.6 miles. Two hours to complete

Elevation Difference:  330 feet

Rating:  Moderate

Features:    This is a moderately strenuous, multi-use trail with steep slope switchbacks; however it is less strenuous than Pinnacle Mountain summit trails.  It includes great views overlooking the Maumelle and Arkansas Rivers

Meeting Place and Time:  1:00 p.m. Upper parking lot at the Riverview Center (old Pinnacle Mountain Visitor Center)

Comment 1:  Bring water, snack, rain gear, gloves, and wear trail shoes.  Hiking poles may be helpful.  Participants are required to sign a “liability release”  at the trailhead to take part in any Ozark Society outing. Everyone is welcome to hike with us, whether an Ozark Society member or not.
