John Svendsen of Cadron Creek Outfitters will lead three short hikes and provide a barbecue lunch from their location west of Guy. Be at the Morgan McDonalds off I-40 by 8. We will carpool from here up to his HQ.

Three separate outings scheduled so that one can participate in one or all three.  We will begin at 9am allowing for a meet-up at Cadron Creek Outfitters around 8:40 am with quick intro and then off we go. Should really be primed for colors! We will have lots of vista views.

John plans on heading to Lil’ and Big B’ Falls first — walking under the drip line of the bluff it can be rocky and sometimes slippery (rain?) but is otherwise a fairly easy hike of about 3 miles.

Back at the campground we’ll have a quick bite — CCO will provide pull pork BBQ sandwiches and the fixins’ and non-alcoholic beverages — and then “walk it off” by touring Sunrise Bluff trail — the easiest. shortest of the three trails before coming back to the campground for short AV program on Arkansas natural springs purported to have medicinal properties before touring  the old ghost town — Pinnacle Springs.  Bring snacks and good shoes or boots.
